he Philippine Cebu Open Source Summit 2008 is one the major thrusts of the Cebu Business Month (CBM) for this year, being held in collaboration with the Commission on Information and Communications Technology (CICT) and in conjunction with the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI).

Microsoft Philippines is a major sponsor and supporter of this open source event in Cebu City.
