Beijing Olympics Ticket Scam

Hundreds, maybe thousands of people have been scammed by online sellers of the 2008 Beijing Olympics to be held in China this August 8, 2008.
The Melbourne Age newspaper reported that Olympic officials will ask a judge in California to shut down the slick, professional-looking www.beijingticketing.com which boasted of offices in Sydney, London and New York.
The IOC, according to the newspaper, has received complaints from hundreds of alleged victims some of whom handed over as much as US $60,000 for tickets but received none.
When desperate fans checked out the address given on the website as Suite 700, 2415 East Camelback Road, Phoenix, Arizona it led to an empty office.
