20-year-old Larissa Ramos of Brazil was crowned Miss Earth 2009 at an eco-village in Boracay this Sunday.

Ramos who is a biology student, beat about eighty contestants from around the world.

Manny Pacquiao will be up against Miguel Cotto in a 12-round boxing fight dubbed as “Firepower” at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada on November 14 (November 15 in the Philippines).

The fight is for the WBO welterweight title (147 pounds) and the catch weight for both fighters is at 145 pounds. The winner will also received a customized diamond belt. It will be aired on Solar Sports and GMA-7 via delayed telecast, which means lots of TV commercials in between rounds.
