Schedule of LET Registration and Exams 2009

The Teacher’s Board Exams (LET) have been re-scheduled from today – Sunday, September 2009 — to a unconfirmed date.
However, the LET board exam will still push through in testing centers in Batanes, Angeles City in Pampanga, Baguio City, Tuguegarao City in Cagayan, Lucena City in Quezon, Palawan, the Visayas and Mindanao. Exam takers from Metro Manila are advised to wait for the new schedule from the PRC.
ShareClasses Suspended on Monday, September 28

The National Disaster Coordination Council (NDCC) has announced that classes will be suspended in all levels this Monday. Included in the suspension announcement by Gilbert Teodoro (Gibo) are Metro Manila and other neighboring provinces like Bulacan, Laguna and Cavite.
Schools and universities have also announced that they will be closing tomorrow to assess the damages brought by floods due to Typhoon Ondoy.
Last Saturday morning, Ondoy hit Metro Manila with heavy rains that flooded the entrie NCR region. NLEX and SLEX were also closed down and were impassable. Rescue efforts are being conducted until now especially in heavy-hit areas like Pasig, Marikina and Quezon City.

Ateneo vs. UE in the UAAP Finals

University of the East (UE) Red Warriors defeated the FEU Tamaraws in two consecutive games to advance in the 72 UAAP Basketball Finals. UE will now face off with AdMU for a best of 3 games starting this Sunday, September 27, 2009.
Ateneo de Manila is the defending champion of the UAAP Men’s Basketball. Tickets for the games are sold at Ticketnet.
ShareNoynoy Aquino, Mar Roxas to run for President & VP in 2010

Benigno Noynoy Aquino will be running for president in the 2010 national elections. Mar Roxas will be his running mate as vice president under the Liberal Party.
Mar Roxas had earlier announced he wanted to run for president but since the death of former president Corazon “Cory” Aquino, there has been a lot of clamor that Noynoy should run for president instead in order to further the legacy of the Aquino family. Mar Roxas then made an announcement that he will step down and withdraw his presidential candidacy to make way for Noynoy.

A new line of CPU has been announced by Intel recently. Among them is the mid-range Intel Core i5 750 which runs at a clock speed of 2.66GHz.

This CPU will cost around $200 when it comes out in the market, which should be coming very soon.
