Nokia E63 Philippines Price

Nokia is set to launch the Nokia E63 smartphone in the Philippines this coming mid-December. Expect the price to be around the Php11,000 mark.
Despite a reduced feature-list, the Nokia E63 could be the better half of it’s big brother, the Nokia E71.

ShareMindanao Groups Win International Software Freedom Day 2008 Competition

Davao City open source organization, DabaweGNU Inc., and FreeIT from General Santos City made it to this year’s Software Freedom Day (SFD) Best Event competition. DabaweGNU Inc. shared top honors with teams from Nepal and Nicaragua while FreeIT and teams from Trinidad and Tobago and Central America received special mention. The groups bested 500 teams from over 90 countries who joined this year’s SFD celebrations. The winning teams were selected for the scope of their SFD activities, the number of people reached, and the quality of the reporting. Top winners will receive OLPC laptops from SFD International.

Red Mobile has replaced umobile as the newest prepaid network in the country. It is powered by the 3G network of Smart Comm. Red Mobile has been calling umobile subscribers to inform them about the switch to the new Red Mobile SIM card.
Red mobile offers P0.50 per minute (even if it is just the amount left on the subscriber’s account) is one of the cheapest rates and is obviously aimed at Sun Cellular.
Red Mobile is powered by a countrywide 3G network of Smart and is available nationwide. However, service will only work if there are 3G signal in your area. Red mobile is offered to you by Connectivity Unlimited Resource Enterprise, Inc (CURE).
